Very surprised that this song ended up being my first solo work to be released, but I'm also so happy it is! This was made for the Vocaloid Music Jam, and to be honest I genuinely just started messing around in my DAW when this popped out- seriously, don't ask me how I made this because I don't know. IMMOLATE can be perceived in a lot of ways, but to me (and in relation to the Music Jam's theme of "My Life") it's honestly just a theatrical representation of recreating oneself. It's acting upon a realization that something is wrong and taking things into your own hands. Outrunning my past was never the goal, it was building a better future for myself despite everything.
